Arrhythmia is a hip-hop performance piece ten years in the making. Playwright/poet/performer/director Zell Miller II started writing Arrhythmia over a decade ago, and he’s workshopped it in various theaters in various states in the intervening year. Now, he’s ready to present the finished product to the people of Austin.

The show examines love, in all its facets, through the story of four spirits who journey to find love, forgiveness, remorse, and elation.

Arrhythmia stars Ebony Stewart, Sean Tate, Aaron Sanders, and Toni Ringgold; it also features choreography from Amanda Mayi Moss and original music from DJ S.T.A.T.I.K. and Buddy Cannon. The performance piece was written and directed by Zell Miller III.

Arrhythmia is a co-production of Vortex Repertory Company and Uprise! Productions .

Where: The Vortex, 2307 Manor Road
When: February 5 – 20; Thursday – Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
