Invincible Czars live – December 11, 2009
Austin’s Invincible Czars will be spreading a unique variety of holiday cheer by performing their zealous take on Tchaikovsky’s classic “Nutcracker Suite” in full band leader costume. Combining the musical styles of Eastern European folk idioms, classical arrangements, heavy metal waltzes, jazz grooves , country shuffles and circusy polkas, the Czars are sure to offer up an unforgettable seasonal experience. They’ll be appearing at Jovita’s with Golden Arm Trio and Wicked Cricket Dance Theater Saturday night and they’ll swing by Studio 1A for a session with John Aielli on Eklektikos Friday at 11.
