Austin’s McKinney has been a fixture of the live music scene in town as the frontman for Soulhat and as a solo artist for well over a decade. He’s got a new solo album due for release soon called Everybody Wants To See The Lights. Plus, this Sunday marks the 1st Annual McKinney’s Fall Jam – a 12-Hour, non-stop jam at Antone’s celebrating Kevin’s 40th Birthday and featuring Soulhat 3, Bruce Robison, Lil Captain Travis, Topaz, Root Dimension Reggae and many more. Kevin will tell us more when he stops by Studio 1A for a session on Music with Matt Reilly Thursday at 9:30 PM.
