Charges Dismissed in Yogurt Shop Murders Case
Murder charges have been dismissed against the two men once convicted in Austin’s 1991 “Yogurt Shot Murders.”
The cases against Scott and Springsteen were complicated by the discovery of new DNA evidence, and allegations of coerced confessions. The former defendants are relieved to be free, but as KUT’s Mose Buchele reports the Travis County District Attorney says she still believes they committed the crimes.
