Arts Eclectic: Leave it to Beverly
Ten years ago, as a college student in Vermont, Kirk German wrote a one-act play called “Leave it to Beverly,” which was inspired by his days spent watching classic sitcoms on Nick at Night. Now he’s expanded that script into a three-act play, featuring three different faux-sitcoms (“Leave it to Beverly,” “Trixie Knows Best,” and “Make Room for Lorraine”) which interconnect in unexpected ways.
“Leave it to Beverly” is a production of “Da! Theatre Collective”: http://www.datheatrecollective.org/ and stars DA! Collective Members Jude Hickey, Heather Huggins, Lisa del Rosario, Michelle Brandt, Stephanie Denson, and Scott Roskilly, along with guest artists Chris Gibson, Rhonda Kulhanek, and Jacob Trussell.
