IN THE NEWS:

According to Ryan Adam’s website, the musician is back on the scene, and this time with a record label of his own. After announcing in January of this year, that he was needing to “step back now, to reel it in,” the news seems to be a bit of a surprise. In addition to the new label, Pax-Am, the vamped website offers two new songs for $1.49, Lost and Found and Go Ahead and Rain, which will be “digitally shipping Fri, Sept 11th.”

LOCAL SHOWS:

The benefit show for music photographer Todd V. Wolfson is to be held at Antone’s tonight. Acts include, but are not limited to; Alejandro Escovedo, Paula Nelson, Carolyn Wonderland and Ian McLagan. Show begins at 7pm, $20 advance, $25 door.
