Arts Eclectic: The 24 hour roman reconstruction project, or building rome in a day

Starting at midnight tonight, artist Liz Glynn will head a team of some 200 people creating a scale replica of the ancient city of Rome. The art event, called The 24 Hour Roman Reconstruction Project, or Building Rome in a day, will include the building of the model city, along with live music performances, poetry readings, lectures, and much more. It all starts at midnight tonight at Arthouse at the Jones Center. Everyone’s invited to come and help build, watch the progress, listen to the bands, or just eat the themed food provided.

Where: Arthouse at the Jones Center

When: Friday, September 25, starting at midnight and running for 24 hours (ending at midnight Saturday night).
