The Black and White Years Plays Tonight at Emo’s

August 28, 2009 6:00 am by: Laurie Gallardo

The quirky new wave-vibe of Austin pop/rockers The Black and White Years first caught the attention of former Talking Heads guitarist Jerry Harrison three years ago during SXSW. He produced their self-titled debut album, which opened the floodgates to rave reviews and invitations to play several music festivals. They have a new EP, Nursery Myths, due for release September 15th.

You can see The Black and White Years play tonight at Emo’s outdoor stage, 603 Red River. Also on the bill are The White White Lights, Bad Veins, and Built By Snow. This is gonna be a good one. Go for it. The show starts at 10-ish p.m.
