Ian McClagan Plays This Tuesday Night at the Cactus Cafe

Honestly, what can one not say about Ian McLagan that will not leave one perfectly dazed in total admiration? He’s played, recorded and toured with the best of the best: the Stones, Dylan, Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt…that’s barely grazing the list, but you get the picture. He’s made a powerful mark in musical history as a member of Small Faces and Faces, and as a solo artist, since the 1960′s.

These days, McLagan makes Austin his home, and you can usually catching him rocking the house with the Bump Band. This Tuesday night, however, marks a special occasion of sorts: McLagan is performing, for the first time, at the Cactus Cafe. He’ll be doing a solo show starting at 8:30 p.m.

The Cactus Cafe is at 2247 Guadalupe (24th and Guadalupe), in the Texas Union on the UT campus. This is one you will not want to miss. Ian McLagan is a fantastic musician and always gives a great show. Mark it down: Tuesday, 8:30 in the p.m., Cactus Cafe. Be there, mate.
