Austin Energy’s Plan For The 2020 Future

Austin Energy unveils their plan that is supposed to meet energy demands into the year 2020.

Since City Council voted to require 30 percent of Austin Energy’s power to come from renewable energy sources by 2020, Austin Energy has been working on a game plan to meet those demands. This week Austin Energy will be presenting their 2020 enery generation plan to city commissions. KUT’s Erika Aguilar tells us what’s in the plan and how it affects customers.
