Video: The Krayolas in Studio 1a
After a twenty year hiatus, San Antonio’s The Krayolas re-emerged with two new albums in the past year. The attention for last year’s La Conquistadora has kept the group busy with a regular stream of live performances and radio programs. Their new album Long Leaf Pine (no smack gum) continues the Tex-Mex groove with tunes like ‘Twelve Heads in a Bag’, a song written about drug violence in Mexico in a traditional Mexican style known as a Corrido.
