July 27, 2009 10:52 am by: Jay Trachtenberg

Tori Amos began playing piano at the unbelievable age of 2. The short version of her successful career goes like this: After several years studying at the Peabody Conservatory, she left to pursue her interest in rock music, playing the East Coast piano bar circuit. At 21, she moved to Los Angeles to begin a music career. Since then, she has become a household name, wowing audiences across the globe with her unparalleled ability as a songwriter and musician. In May of 2009, Amos unveiled her tenth CD, Abnormally Attracted to Sin, described as “an elaborate feast made of homegrown stock, offered up to a generation fed on small meals with cheap ingredients.”
