Quasi: “It’s Raining”

Quasi, a trio based out of Portland, Oregon, has been contributing to the music world for many years now. Created in 1993 by Sam Coomes, and Janet Weiss (yes, she was the drummer from Sleater-Kinney); and despite having been part of many side projects, they have managed to maintain a steady flow of new musical creations as Quasi. The band recently paid Austin a visit, accompanying Spoon for their three night run with an opening set at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater.
