John Amos Live – July 25, 2009

John Amos has crafted an album of Hill Country storytelling; and almost every track is reminiscent of one of Amos’s heroes, from John Prine to Mark Knopfler to Tom Waits. Invisible Boy was produced by Andrew Hardin, and has many great players including Mark Andes, Lloyd Maines, and Kevin Welch. John stopped by to play at KUT and you can listen to him live on Folkways with Kevin Connor.
