This Providence, Rhode Island quartet actually started as a guitar and drums duo in 2004. Deer Tick have since expanded their line-up as well as their fan base. Influenced by Hank (Senior, of course), and brandishing a rock ‘n’ roll attitude, they have been drawing praise from all over the U.S. due to the accessibility of their music and plain old hard work that’s evident on their new album Born on Flag Day.
