Thao With The Get Down Stay Down @ SXSW ‘09
San Francisco’s Thao Nguyen and her band typify the latest trends in pop music while remaining indefinable. Their full-length debut We Brave Bee Stings and All features songs that build sparsely into swirling melodies with Thao’s distinctive, expressive vocals and Tucker Martine of the Decemberists and Laura Veirs fame at the production helm.
