Peter, Bjorn, and John in Studio 1a
Stockholm, Sweden’s Peter, Bjorn and John were at the forefront of promising pop bands coming out of the Nordic country in 2005. After a series of several EP’s, the band’s third album Writers Block spurred an international hit with “Young Folks,” a song they later performed with Kanye West at a festival in Gothenburg, Sweden. Band members soon focused on other projects but came together again for 2008’s largely instrumental Seaside Rock. As part of their appearance at this year’s SXSW Music Festival and Conference the trio stopped by KUT’s Studio 1a for a live performance.
