Monahans Live – June 25, 2009

Taking their name from an area of white sand hills in West Texas, this Austin quartet morphed from the alt-country band Milton Mapes into the more rockin’ outfit Monahans. Their second album Dim the Aurora, features anthemic pop with musical spacing that evokes their geographical namesake. Listen to them live on Music with Jay Trachtenberg!
