Little Joy Live – June 8, 2009

Taking their namesake from a cocktail lounge near their Echo Park hangout in Los Angeles, Little Joy is made up of Strokes’ drummer Fabrizio Moretti, singer/guitarist of Brazilian rock outfit Los Hermanos Rodrigo Amarante, and multi-instrumentalist Binki Shapiro. Their self titled album came out last fall to widespread acclaim. They bring their eclectic mix of classical guitars, indie pop and easy Brazilian rhythms to Studio 1A and you can listen to them live on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
