Leo Rondeau Plays at the Hole In the Wall Tonight

June 1, 2009 6:00 am by: Laurie Gallardo

See that feller, down at the end of the bar? That would be a Mr. Leo Rondeau. He’ll make you some great music with a twang that tugs at the heart.

The singer-songwriter and roots music artist does real country, sauntering through with steel guitar or banjo, and drawing you in with great storytelling. Originally from North Dakota, he moved to Austin and made his first release, Bangs, Bullets and The Turtle Mountains (2007), and nailed the mood just right once again with his 2009 CD, Down at the End of the Bar.

You can see Rondeau play tonight at the Hole In the Wall, 2538 Guadalupe. The gig starts out with performances by Kristeen Young, and Haley Anna & Her Dirty Wheels. Chuck those Monday blahs and head over to the Hole for some lover-ly music. Beer is also a good thing.
