Following stints in the bands Chaparral and Two Hoots & a Holler, native Texan Charlie Robison has been a mainstay of the country music world for several years now. His latest offering, Beautiful Day, finds him working with top notch musicians like Charlie Sexton, Rich Brotherton, and Bukka Allen. The album has an appealing country-rock punch and touches on his latest personal issues. Charlie returned to Austin, the launching pad for his career, for a session in Studio 1A on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
