South Austin Wastewater Spill

May 4, 2009 3:54 pm by: KUT Staff

The Austin Water Utility reports that a broken wastewater line was found near the tributary of Country Club Creek and the end of Ware Road in South Austin May 4.

Officials say the public drinking water supply is not affected by the spill. But people in the area who get their water from a private well will have to boil their water until it can be tested.
