Pre-K Expansion Bill

The Texas House has given initial approval to a bill that would expand help some school districts continue offering pre-kindergarten, while allowing other to expand their programs.

The bill’s primary goal is to help those school districts that have made substantial investments in pre-k, but were about to lose supplemental state funding.
