No Tall Buildings On The Lake…Maybe

The Austin City Council last week gave a preliminary “yes” to the Waterfront Overlay Ordinance. This ordinance would limit buildings to 96 feet around Lady Bird Lake. This will affect some projects looking to build condos or office and retail space. But as KUT’s Erika Aguilar reports the city council left a back door open for developers giving them some wiggle room.
