Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles: “Diamonds and Gold”
Sean Scolnick was born in Langhorne, Pennsylvania – hence the moniker. Langhorne Slim is now based out of Brooklyn. He and his band, The War Eagles, have gained national recognition for their unique brand of soul and roots rock.
Langhorne Slim and the War Eagles released an eponymous LP late last year, and were kind enough to drop by KUT to record some live tunes when they were in town supporting the CD.
Today’s song of the day is a tune from that session. It’s called “Diamonds and Gold.”
