Eulogies Live – May 18, 2009
Los Angeles based songwriter/guitarist Peter Walker hooked up with members of Wilco and Beck’s band for his 2004 debut Landed. Then, Walker borrowed members of Grandaddy and Earlimart for the tightly-coiled follow-up Young Gravity. With Eulogies, Walker digs deep into his storytelling with slow-burning mid-tempo rockers on the band’s self-titled recording from 2007. This year’s Here Anonymous brings more fuzzy guitars and introspective lyrics to the band’s already well-established sound. Listen to Eulogies live on Music with Jay Trachtenberg!
