Brothers and Sisters: “Can’t Hold Me Back”

It feels like Austin’s Brothers and Sisters have been a staple of the evolving Austin music scene for a while now. Led by real-life siblings Will and Lily Courtney, the band’s throwback style of sunny, Beach Boys-style pop is perfect for the impending summer.

Brothers and Sisters dropped by KUT last week to records some tunes (sans Sister – Lily is a school teacher and couldn’t make the daytime performance).

Today’s song of the day is a tune from that session. It also appears on the band’s latest release, Fortunately.

It’s called “Can’t Hold Me Back.”
