Alpha Rev Plays This Saturday Night at Antone’s

May 28, 2009 6:00 am by: Laurie Gallardo

The break that Alpha Rev took wasn’t too long, and they had a perfectly good excuse for doing so. They’ve been working on their upcoming album for the past six months, and recording at Avatar Studios in New York City. The album is due for release sometime in the near future.

Singer-songwriter Casey McPherson previously played with Endochine, which toured with bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pete Yorn. After Endochine’s breakup, McPherson formed Alpha Rev in 2005.

Alpha Rev will headline a show this Saturday night at Antone’s, 213 W. 5th St. The bill includes a CD release performance by Deadbeat Darling, and sets by Quiet Company and The Campaign. Doors open at 8 p.m., followed by the show at 9.
