Mothers try to teach their daughters how to make their way in the world. And just as often, daughters, no matter what their age, have a lot to teach their mothers. Joy Diaz is a writer, teacher, and mother to a one-and-a-half year old daughter in Austin. Joy says she has learned invaluable lessons from her daughter.
