The family of Nathaniel Sanders remember the 18-year-old man shot and killed by a police officer the day after Mother's Day.

KUT’s Ian Crawford speaks with reporter Laura Heinauer of the Austin American-Statesman, who interviewed Nathaniel Sanders’ family in the hours after the May 11 shooting. The family recalled sweet tooth and how a promising life had recently run afoul of the law.
