Stimulus Money Will Spur Courthouse Project
$116 Million has been allocated for the construction of a federal courthouse, said Lloyd Dogget, D-Austin, on March 31.
The project has been delayed for years.
The site is the former home of the Intel building. After initial optimism, including a $15 million incentive offer from the city, that project stalled. Its half-finished structure was demolished in 2007.
