Making The The Warehouse District Historic

Only one building in the Warehouse District is officially designated an historic landmark.

We dine and wine in downtown Austin’s historic Warehouse District. Most of these old warehouse buildings are now restaurants, office space or bars. The faded brick and arches on them are ornaments of Austin’s commercial past. But as KUT’s Erika Aguilar reports only one of these buildings is officially historic.
