Jiffy Lube Operator Convicted of Dumping Oil into Austin Sewers

Heartland Automotive Services, Inc. was convicted of Texas Water Code violations for discharging oil and waste water into the city's sewer system.

The District Attorney’s Office reports, “As part of an agreement with the District Attorney’s Office, the Nebraska-based corporation was ordered to pay a total of $300,000 in fines and issue a public apology.”
