Hoping for Help from “Change”

African American leaders in Texas hope the same push for "change" that elected President Barack Obama will make a difference during the 2009 Legislative Session.

Visitors filled the Capitol Auditorium and three committee rooms in what Houston Representative Democrat Sylvester Turner calls the “Momentum of Change.”
