Governor Issues Disaster Declaration

Governor Rick Perry issued the declaration for the entire state in response to the swine flu.

State health officials now confirm 16 cases of swine flu in Texas this year.

Gov. Perry was joined by Texas Department of State Health Services Commissioner Dr. David Lakey and Texas Education Commissioner Robert Scott at a press conference April 29th.
