G. Love: “Won’t You Come Home Now?”
Garrett Dutton III is probably better known by his stage name, G. Love. Dutton has been performing with his band Special Sauce for the better part of fifteen years, now, and has always found Austin a home away from his native Philadelphia.
Known for his fusion of folk and soul with hip-hop and R&B, G. Love dropped by KUT a few weeks back and was kind enough to record some live tunes.
Today’s song of the day is an old “rocksteady” tune that G. Love has been performing on his most recent tour.
