Dynamite Walls: "Mystery"

A recent article describing the rise of San Diego-based Dynamite Walls suggested that this band was “calmly blowing up.” Though still without the support of a recording label, the quintet has the look and sound of a seasoned band.

Under the watchful eye of producer Paul Fox (10,000 Maniacs, XTC, Phish), the band has recently been in the studio recording tunes for a follow-up to 2008’s The Blinding Lights Above.

The band dropped by KUT a couple of weeks ago for SXSW and recorded some tunes.

Today’s song of the day is a new, unreleased tune performed during that session.

It’s a song called “Mystery.”
