Del Castillo Live – April 9, 2009
Texas natives Rick and Mark del Castillo fuse flamenco music with rock attitude, often with hyper-speed guitar duels displaying their technical virtuosity, and all backed by an equally adept rhythm section. Forming in 2000 as a duo, the brothers soon formed a band, playing their first live show in Austin and recording their debut album within two years. Third album Brotherhood won Album of the Year at the 2006/2007 Austin Music Awards. The band continues to tour throughout the country, thriving on performing live and building new audiences.
