City Council Candidate Jose Quintero

East Austin community organizer Jose Quintero is challenging Council Member Mike Martinez for his seat at city hall.

This month, KUT is focusing on issues and candidates for the May 9th City Council and Mayor Elections. Jose Quintero is challenging Council Member Mike Martinez for Place Two on the Austin City Council. Quintero’s roots are in East Austin as are his concerns. KUT’s Erika Aguilar reports on what drew Quintero into this race.
