Candidate Profile: Brewster McCracken

Brewster McCracken was first elected to City Council in 2003. That makes him the longest serving sitting council member.

Brewster McCracken was raised in Corpus Christi and studied law and public policy at UT Austin. As KUT’s Mose Buchele reports he has made made urban planning, transportation, and renewable energy the cornerstones of his mayoral campaign.
