Bajofondo Live – April 14, 2009
Led by multiple Grammy-winning producer Gustavo Santaolalla, Buenos Aires-based collective Bajofondo originated around the same time as Gotan Project and play a similar mix of tango & electronica. The group of artists, singers and composers was formerly called Bajofondo Tango Club, but shortened their name while broadening their sound beyond the traditional. Pop-rock guru Elvis Costello is featured on the band’s latest recording Mardulce. Listen to Bajofondo live in Studio 1A with Horizontes host Michael Crockett.
