Austin Dropout Prevention Grant

Program is for at-risk students at Eastside Memorial High School.

The campus was formerly Johnston High school.

A state grant will expand a job training program the school started in January of 2008. Students will now get paid for job training.

The Austin School District hopes to kick off the new program starting this summer.
