SXSW Artist ‘09 – Anni Rossi: ‘Wheelpusher’

Anni Rossi has been playing viola since age 3. The 23-year old has made the classical instrument the center of her pop songs, with some drums and cello thrown in for good measure. Rossi just recorded her first full length album with über-producer Steve Albini. The new CD, called Rockwell, is slated for release on Tuesday, March 9th.

Today’s song of the day is a tune from the new album. It’s called ‘Wheelpusher.’
