Remembering Horton Foote
He won a Pulitizer Prize in 1995 for his play “The Young Man From Atlanta” and Academy Awards for his screen adaptation of “To Kill A Mockingbird” and original screenplay for “Tender Mercies.” Foote inspired many around the world and here in Texas. Ken Webster is the producing artistic director at Hyde Park Theatre says that he has always been a fan of Foote’s, especially because they both grew up in the same part of Texas.
