NPR SXSW Showcase Broadcast Tonight on KUT

Unless you lucked out and snagged a ticket, or you made all of those suave connections with all the right peeps, the chances of you squeezing into tonight’s NPR SXSW Showcase at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater on Red River are pretty slim.
However, there is another way. Just have a radio on hand.
KUT 90.5 is broadcasting NPR’s showcase this evening, co-hosted by our very own David Brown of KUT’s Texas Music Matters, starting at 10 p.m. You can also stream the show online at the KUT website, if you prefer. Tonight’s featured artists are The Avett Brothers, The Heartless Bastards, and The Decemberists, who will premiere their new album, The Hazards of Love. Check out the excitement tonight!
