The Decemberists Perform New Album At SXSW 09

On Wednesday, March 18, at 10PM, NPR Music will present a SXSW showcase at Stubb’s BBQ – and headlining it will be The Decemberists performing their entire new album, The Hazards Of Love, in sequence for the first time. Lavender Diamond‘s Becky Stark and My Brightest Diamond‘s Shara Worden, who contribute vocals to the album, will be joining them on stage. The Hazards Of Love is their fifth release and is set for a March 24 release date. The Avett Brothers and The Heartless Bastards will open the showcase.
