J Tillman "Steel on Steel"

Before 2008, Joshua ‘J.’ Tillman was a relatively unknown artist from the Pacific Northwest. He’s only recently become a household name after joining breakout indie-folk act, Fleet Foxes (Tillman plays drums in the band).

But Tillman has been releasing consistently since 2004. And his latest release, Vacilando Territory Blues, is a sometimes tortured, always engaging effort.
