Culturing Stem Cells in Texas

Texas Senator Jane Nelson (R)has filed a bill that would foster adult stem cell research in Texas.

Adult stem cells are found throughout the body. The plentiful cells are responsible for regenerating damaged and dead tissue. Scientists believe that if harnessed, degenerative diseases – like heart disease – could be stopped.
