City Approves Lady Bird Lake Walkway

The City Council voted to approve plans for a controversial new boardwalk along part the south shore of Lady Bird Lake.

Plans to connect the hike and bike trail from the Austin American Statesman building east to Lakeshore Boulevard drew large amounts of support and opposition.
