Austin City Council Races Set

Five people are vying to succeed Mayor Will Wynn.

The candidates for Mayor are:

City Council Member Lee Leffingwell, City Council Member Brewster McCracken, Former Texas Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn, real estate investor David A. Buttross, and Hilton houseperson Josiah James Ingalls.

City council incumbents Mike Martinez and Sheryl Cole both have one challenger for their seats.

Early voting for the May 9th election starts April 27th.
